I think I may have to download bootleg from Newsgroups when I get the opportunity l8r on. If they didn't have DRM, people that buy the steam account could take the unprotected executables and upload them some where for the people that own the CD/DVD version. It already happens occasionally but most publishers have learned that distributing an unprotected version of the game defeats the purpose of protecting any version. Remember, media protection is added by third party software as an extension to the original code base.

There's only been a handful of games that were designed to be deeply embedded with the copy protection (like Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory). It may look good but the game play freaking sucks. It was WAAAAY overhyped.

You would think people would learn by now to not get their hopes up because then it just comes crashing down when its not what they expected. You have to aim to do everything and from what I have heard because I didnt get that far, you spend a lot of time just driving. You are there in Africa sent to kill one specific person. Then they have you doing a bunch of missions that arent what you are there to do. Stupid run around.

Weapons suck, gameplay sucks. Far Cry 1 sucked too IMO. The only thing 'Far Cry' about this game is the name.
