Crack Do Desperados Wanted Dead Or Alive Plastic
Hi there, I recently bought Desperados here and, who could have guessed, had some performance issues with the game. The game was smooth as long as I looked at one scene, but when moving the mouse to the border of the screen the game lagged for a few seconds till it was stable again. Please note that the game has an engine limitation to 21 Fps. You can't get the game to run faster, all 2-D-animations and the sound is tied to this specific framerate. So, before trying to fix anything use fraps to check your framerate.
As word spread that the most notorious bank robber of the Depression era was dead, people flocked to the scene and used handkerchiefs to sop up his blood. The gang's proficiency and moxie propelled its nominal leader to the top of the FBI's Most Wanted list. 'I and others like me are trying to keep his name alive. – Release name: desperados_wanted_dead_or_alive-GOG. Crack by scene team RELOADED, FLT, HI2U, BAT, CPY, PLAZA, SKIDROW, CODEX. P2p 3DM BlackBox Ali213 and GOG.
If you have stable 21Fps you can stop reading and just play the game. If your game drops below 21 Fps especially when moving the mouse to the border of the screen - here is how you fix it: - go into the game folder, you can find it under: C. Desperados - Wanted Dead or Alive Game - make a copy of 'game.exe' - rename it to 'Desperados_game.exe' - open CCC / Nvidia Inspector and create a new profile for the 'Desperados_game.exe' - Force VSync for this game If you start the game now it will often freeze and the sound will stutter because of the driver trying to force 30Fps for the game. This can be fixed through setting the compatibility mode to 'Windows XP Service Pack 3' or 'Windows 2000' for the 'Desperados_game.exe'. DO NOT USE WINDOWS 98/SE-Mode - it causes the sound to stutter occationally.
Now, most of you will be able to play the game! Please note that you need to start the game through 'Desperados_game.exe'. Use Fraps to check if your game is working fine at stable 21 Fps.
The slowdowns in the game are only VSync-related. You can also set your driver to not force VSync, the game is more responsive with this setting but you will see severe tearing. Simply do not let the game handle syncing itself and you can play the game withot slowdowns. If you still have problems playing this game, here are some more settings that are messing with it: - Disable any form of frame limiting. Nvidia Users can disable it through the Nvidia Inspector Tool. Look for the setting 'Frame Rate Limiter' in the 'Common'-section. Set it to 'Off'.

If you use 'Dxtory', disable the limitting here too. - Disable Tools that force Tripple Buffering, they cause sound stuttering in 'Desperados'. A common tool to force VSync/Tripple-Buffering is 'D3DOverrider'. Disable it while playing the game. - There is another game from this studio called 'Robin Hood', it uses the same engine. This game has a bug that causes the game to slow down when text is displayed. This is caused by a fucked up english font the game uses.
You can download the german font for the game an replace the problematic file. This fixes the slowdowns when you see subtitles or messages. You can get the alternate font here: (GOG wont allow me to post links, Google-search for: 'robin hood font download game', you can find the font file in the gog or the steam forum) It works for Desperados as well.
- Force VSync off via driver, you will see tearing but the game is a lot more stable. Use this if your game freezes from time to time. And here are the things that NOT mess with the game: - your mouse driver. I checked it with a Logitech gaming mouse and a standard Microsoft mouse, they work just fine. You can also use features like a button to change mouse speed, or set Quicksave to a button. - the hyperthreading feature of your i7-processor (if you have one) or the dynamic clock rate of your processor (any processor from the last few years has this feature).
With the above fixes it works on a highly overclocked i7-2600k with a Nvidia GTX 670 and 12Gb Ram on Windows 7 x64. The game runs as good as it did back then when it was released.
Have fun with this great game!
Dunno if this was asked before, but I searched and found nothing. I am having issues with games that seem to be DirectDraw based. There are two main things I noticed: Performance - Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive - the game works awfully slow. My machine may not be the best there is, its a Q6600 with GTS 450, but c'mon, this is an old game. Fonts - I really wanted to play Gangsters and Atlantis 3, but the fonts are not rendered for some reason. I tried comparing the fonts in windows 7 (luckily saved the old windows 7 dir) but no fonts seem to be missing. I've read that they scrapped Cleartype, but surely those games don't use it?
Tried all the compatibility settings. You need to install the full DX9 package (about 90mb) since games still use it. Win8 only has support for DX10 and 11.
Also check to see if you need c++ redistributables (2008, 2010) + updated graphics drivers and Intel chipset drivers (the system generic devices often need update, but the best part is: people usually never update these). For cleartype: yes we have it! Here are the details: You can also do what VIIB says and wait until more people use 8 and when more support is available. But I'll certainly try all the options available at the moment. Hope this helps.
